The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) is a rapid transit system in Singapore. It began operation in November 1987. The system consists of seven lines and 119 stations.
Operating hours are from 05:30 to 00:00. Train frequency is 2-3 minutes during peak hours and 5-7 minutes off-peak. The fare depends on the distance traveled.
