The Brasilia Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Brasilia. Construction began in 1992 and metro was opened in March 2001. Metro system consists of 2 lines and serves a total of 24 stations. System is open from Monday to Saturday 6.00 to 23.30 and from 7.00 to 19.00 on Sundays and Holidays.
