The Delhi Metro is a metro system in Delhi, India. The largest and busiest metro in India serves Delhi and its satellite cities in the National Capital Region. The system began operation in December 2002. It consists of 11 lines (incl. Rapid MetroRail Gurgaon) and over 200 stations.
Since 1998 when the construction began, over 100 people have died in different construction or other accidents.
