The Montreal Metro is a underground rapid transit system serving the city of Montreal, Canada. Inaugration was in October, 1966. Four lines and 68 stations are serving the centre, north and east of the Island of Montreal.
Train frequency varies from 2 to 10 minutes during peak and non-peak hours on weekdays. On weekends train frequency is from 5 to 12 minutes. Several different fare cards are available for purchase at the stations.
