Yokohama Municipal Subway is a metro system in Yokohama, Japan. It consists of two lines and 40 stations. The Minatomirai Line is operated by Yokohama Minatomirai Railway Company, adding one more line and five new stations into the system. Yokohama Municipal Subway began operation in December 1972, and the Minatomirai Line was opened in February 2004.
